Your November Meal Plan is Here!
Kicking into our "gravy gear."
With November upon us, this month’s recipes focus on simple savory meals that help fuel you through the pre-season holiday hubbub. Plus, we’ll use up some pantry and fridge ingredients along the way so you’ll have room for your Thanksgiving feast (and leftovers).

Now on to this week’s meals!!!
Monday: Crock Pot Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef
We kick off the week with a big ol batch of our favorite homemade meat sauce. We love it on spaghetti noodles, it makes plenty to share or freeze, and we’ll use some of the leftovers on Friday…
Tuesday: Crispy Panko Air Fryer Fish Sammies
My craving for crispy fried fish has officially hit. And while (alas) I don’t (currently) own a deep fryer (*tag to Birthday Ideas for Will), this simple to make sandwich gives me just enough of a golden crisp dopamine hit to carry me through to the Lenten season. Side note: Homemade tartar sauce is sneaky good, y’all.
Wednesday: Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole
Ya know how you have to wrap a dog’s pills in cheese in order for them to take their medicine? Well, when you have 2 picky eaters that turn their nose up at the prospect of a creamy chicken casserole, our recommended “Trojan horse” is Ritz crackers. This recipe embodies classic salty Midwestern comfort food.
Thursday: Our Best Caesar Salad
I (Will) have strong feelings about Caesar salads. The minimum viable salad that MOST restaurants call a Caesar is egregious. If you want something done right, sometimes you gotta do it yourself. I want chips of shaved Parmesan, BIG grains of freshly cracked pepper, a balanced sharpness of tangy lemon, and (crucially)… real Caesar dressing MUST have anchovy! Follow this recipe if you’re a REAL one.
Friday: Italian Nachos
Using some of the leftover crock pot spaghetti sauce from Monday, plus Pita Chips, mozzarella, marinated peppers/olives/giardiniera, sun-dried tomato, Parmesan, and fresh basil, this dinner is as flavorful as it is colorful. In just 30 minutes you’ll be enjoying these “nachos” (and seeing who can pull off the longest stretchy cheese pull).
