If you’re looking for a lovely and easy centerpiece for the holidays, look no further than this Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Ham! It’s got a sweet, sticky glaze that’s tempered by tangy mustard and sharp balsamic vinegar, and the whole thing can be in your crock pot in less than 15 minutes. Can I get a holiday hallelujah?!

We love to serve this ham with mashed potatoes, green beans, and dinner rolls for Christmas dinner, but I’ll admit, I mostly make ham for the leftovers.

The week after Christmas, we’ll be feasting on:

  • Hawaiian Ham and Cheese Sliders- This one is great for NYE parties too!

  • Cheesy Ham and Potato Soup with Peas- The creamiest, coziest soup!

  • Ham and Cheese Frittata- Perfect for a New Year’s Day brunch!

  • Breakfast Croissant Sandwich- Or these, another awesome and make ahead friendly breakfast choice.

  • Gruyere Grilled Cheese with Ham and Fig Jam- The most delightful sweet and savory gooey cheese sandwich.

  • 1905 Salad (Tangy Ham and Swiss Salad)- I fell in love with this salad at Columbia Restaurant, a Cuban restaurant in Tampa, FL. It’s fresh and crisp and tangy and really hits the spot after weeks of cookies and party food.

And now to the ham itself! I’ve got lots of tips for buying and making the best sweet and tangy glazed ham of your life below!
